Today, this program stands as one of Maryland’s premier cybersecurity apprenticeship models, creating direct career pathways for individuals from underserved communities. Conduct mock interviews, resume reviews, or host technical workshops. If you lack the time for long-term mentoring but want to give back, our workforce readiness labs need you. Industry professionals can facilitate technical deep-dives, audit student labs, or critique portfolios to prepare candidates for competitive roles. 1:1 Professional Guidance - Be a Mentor
Guide an underserved scholar through their technical training and first career steps. Our students possess immense aptitude, but navigating corporate tech spaces can be daunting without a compass. As a mentor, you will provide 1:1 professional coaching, help students build confidence, and demystify the tech industry.
Commitment: 2–4 hours a month.
